Heidi-Hotel - The children's and hiking hotel in the Carinthian mountains

The Heidi Alm Falkert is an excellent base for ski touring adventures across the Carinthian Nockberge mountains - especially for those new to this wonderful sport.

Rising up to 2,400 m above sea level, the Nockberge mountains provide ski touring and snowshoeing enthusiasts with fabulous terrain thanks to its gentle gradients. Snow-covered summits such as Falkert-Spitz, Rodresnock, Klomnock and Malnock are just waiting to be conquered.

Magnificent views are the reward for the ascent before skiing down either through the Sonntagstal valley or into the World Cup ski area of Sankt Oswald / Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Practicing emergency situations

Avalanche beacon search field

Here, ski tourers can practice emergency situations. Various transmitters buried in a search area have to be found with your own avalanche transceiver.

The avalanche transceiver search field is located between station 3 and 4 of the ski touring training trail on the left-hand side by the stable. It is available for training purposes free of charge.
